DENSYS LTD. FILES FEDERAL PATENT INFRINGEMENT LAWSUIT AGAINST ALIGN TECHNOLOGY INC. TARGETING INTRA-ORAL SCANNING INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL – Densys Ltd. (Densys3D) today announced that it has filed a federal patent infringement lawsuit against Align Tech Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware (Case No. 1:25-cv-00768). In this ongoing enforcement action, Densys is represented by the trial law firm Susman Godfrey LLP and Delaware counsel Farnan LLP. The lawsuit asserts that Align technology Inc.willfully has infringed two foundational patents invented by Densys CEO and Founder Dr. Maurice Moshe Ernst. These patents enable full mouth real time intra oral 3D computerized mapping, the entry point into dental digital technology, the world of digital dentistry with the gamut of new equipment, materials and treatments. These core innovations serve as the front end of digital dentistry workflows.

Protecting Pioneering R&D Intellectual Property

The Delaware action follows a major milestone in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, which recently cemented an $18 million final judgment against 3Shape Trios A/S for willful infringement of Dr. Ernst's patented technology. Densys is seeking full compensatory damages and all available legal remedies against Align Technology to protect its proprietary intellectual property."
